CANADA CUP 5v5 VS USA QUALIFIERS

Hi everyone.

I am setting up a 5v5 for the afterhours suite at Canada Cup.

We will be playing for our spots, and NOT using past results. and determining who the best is on the FRIDAY

I am thinking as to not lose our best players by having them play each other, we are going to do a round robin, to decide who the best is, and get a fair order.

I have asked PerfectLegend to be the captain of team usa, and he has agreed.

This is YOUR chance to show these dudes what Canadian MK is all about.

So far my list of players interested in the qualifier is as follows...

After MK Tourny on Saturday, we can do qualifiers for Sunday's festivities.

you mean just take the tourney results? I feel as if a round robin would be a better deciding factor. A round robin also takes a lot of time, and the more people that sign up, the longer its gonna take.

Is the redemption suite not saturday night? I feel it would be better to have team canada figured out well in advance.

However, if you aren't gonna be able to make it on the friday, i'm sure we will be able to make sure you're able to compete. maybe i'll ask the guys to get a consensus, but if we do a round robin, we could probably do your set saturday if everyone wants to do friday.

No need to be worrying about it so much a month in advance. It will be easy to figure out what we're gonna do once we're actually all in Calgary.

I agree. I think the best way to go about this, ideally, would be to take the five highest-placing Canadians, and pit them against the five highest-placing Americans. That makes the most sense to me.

Regardless, I think Neorussell is more or less guaranteed a spot, based on what I saw of him on stream. The only other player on this list I've seen is Jimmy, who has a pretty good Kitana. Of course, I'm teaching him to play a secondary that will remain nameless, so if Neo wants to play Kitana, it shouldn't be a problem. Either way, I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah looks doubtful now especially since who knows who from USA will even show up.

Burzy did suggest an AB vs SK type of exhibition we can probably just run in some random hotel room.

LETS GO PUSSIES.

PL isn't going. If this is going to happen, it'll be with Justin, Floe or Valle, possibly PR Rog if he goes. I don't know who the fifth would be.

T12 got 40+ players. I'm sure Canada Cup can gain atleast 20+ players for MK.
I'm not even sure if JWong, Floe or PR Rog will play this game in CC. Concentrating on SF and MvC3 maybe their priority.

Anyways, regardless of what happens, this tournament will go through.
We can do like an East Coast vs West Coast 5v5. We don't really need to include the americans, it can be a Canadian specific thing.

Yah man, we can figure something out. They don't even have the scedual up for sunday so I have no idea what the free time will be like that day.

And i'm not playing in Marvel just AE and 3S so Marvel time is free time for me as well
