Can you Animality off your opponent's Mercy?

Just wondering...i know Animality requires a mercy but does the person DOING the Animality have to perform the mercy or is it just as long as a Mercy is performed by SOMEONE? I'm playing E-jay and we are testing it to see if it works, I perform a mercy and he beats me then tries the Animality.....it hasn't worked yet, but I think he's fucking up the inputs at the same time. Just wondering if anyone knows the answer and we are wasting our time or if this is actually worth finding out.

Nvm, we figured it out. The answer is "Yes" u can do Animality as long as ONE of you performs a Mercy.

This thread can be closed if need be, but I'd have to say it would be best left in the UMK3 section for reference, personally.

EDIT* oh i see...thanx Arion....i guess it can be merged instead, sorry Mods,....common sense didn't kick in ...i made thread on a whim between matches LOL.
