Can someone help me out real quick

I just wanna know why when i'm playing online, the players who know how to play the game fundamentally and know combos and such i have no problems going back and forth with wins and losses. But when i verse someone who does random moves throughout the whole match (ex batgirls who do random drop downs cartwheel kicks etc) they give me trouble. Am i that bad or is it just me not being able to react to randomness

It isn't just you. Random play always gets bolstered by the online environment and thus becomes harder to react to. Most randoms know nothing of frame data and making reads. No need to be down on yourself over this.

pretty much one of the reasons i very rarely play random people online, there are those online warrior types who are not new to the game but they play so idiotic and randomly its almost impossible to play them, as well as the people that are just super new to the game that are either boring or annoying to play

Just play it extremely slow and let them make the mistakes for you to punish. When you try to outsmart someone who isn't thinking, you run into a lot of problems and frustration.

What he said. Guaranteed they will hang themselves. just keep your integrity and patience and sure enough you will most likely see patterns even through the randomness

You're in a really annoying middle spot where you're starting to learn what you're doing, but you don't have enough of it down to a science yet to be able to deal with random stuff. You'll get there, just stick to your guns. I remember nothing being more frustrating than losing to random idiots, but that'll go away in time.
