The argument against using custom variations in tournaments is broken balance. So then what are the most broken custom variations you can make for each character? Are they even that broken?
Cetrion's Geyser would probably be called "broken" if it weren't in a preset. Same for Geras custom version of his sand trap that nullifies any zoners existence by itself.
