Tech - Grandmaster Breaking Ice Clones: Universal Tech

[FCP/EMP SCAR]

So basically I found this while running sets against @Cat subzero, and decided to explore it further, and basically by run blocking and cancelling into block on the moment of impact of an ice clone, block is able to break the ice clone. The timing is a lil tricky but definitely do-able. This can be done with all characters.

@FCP/EMP SCAR How hard is the timing when you're stuck in the corner and the clone is 12 inches in front of you? The clone anywhere else isn't such a big deal. It's the damn corner shenanigans.

This was possible in MK9 as well but pretty hard to do. I haven't tried it in this game I'm curious if it's easier.

Too risky in the corner bro, the timing is too strict to run cancel block, I only suggest using this mid screen

True. Although SZ had a massive frame advantage if it happened. I m thinking its the same case in MKX as well.

It's really not that hard to do in the open but in the corner it seems impossible (to me at least)

You can also do the walk block to break it when it's close.
