Bonus Match

I was playing a ladder match using Kano (probably my worst character) and at the end of the match, it started up a bonus match against Noob who was almost invisible. Needless to say, Noob kick this sh!t out of me. How did I open this bonus match? Has anyone else seen this?

The bonus match against Jade was a bitch to get. You have to get through arcade mode without losing any rounds and then get a double flawless on Shang Tsung. The first part is easy enough, the second not so much.
