Blocking in practice mode.

Hi. Here is what I noticed: in practice mode, when the dummy is always blocking, I do some combo, but not till the last hit, the dummy falls on the ground, while it gets up it gets hit with some hit while I'm still continuing the combo, but the options are set to always block. Is this only in practice mode, or it is a normal behavior in the game (I'm using Jade, so the last hit is almost always a staff hit). I hope I explained understandably. Oh, yeah, - the dummy gets hit with a high hit.
