back into the game/florida players

reading some of the other posts in this forum I think this is the right place / ok to "advertise" post.

Last week got a 360 and no longer restricted to Kaillera.. its been a long time but I want to get into the game again. Want to get my friend list populated.. I Especially some more experienced players and the Florida community (where I live). Be nice to meet some of the players around me.

Im not from Florida but i'll play u on XBL. I've played u a few times in the past and had some good games. Add me if u want and we'll play sometime, I'm always down for a challenge.

P.S. Thanks to the ppl that opened this website back up, even if i am restricted from posting in certain threads. I learned a lot from this site and hopefully will learn more in the future, Thanks!! (didn't know where to thank ppl so here it is)

If you guys can remember an old member from this site "the only one" A.K.A Isaac. He is another Tampa FL umk3 player. only thing is he cant play umk3 on stick and he refuses to play it on a 360 pad.

Does he play on keyboard? You might have to run on a PC.

actually im just hinking about buying 2 pads that are similar to ps pads and just running it on mame. yeah like you said on pc lol ill show him the ropes and we will jsut do offline casuals when ever... man grindfox needs to get in touch with me

Yeah, pick up maybe 2 PS3 wired pads and call it a night. We're at the point right now where we have about 8 UMK3 sticks hovering around the area. Summoning and I alone have 4 UMK3 sticks we bring to every event, 9.95 has a couple as well. Joe iloveu also has one but I don't think he's brought it for a while since he likes ours more.

Those new HORI pads should be coming out soon, and they have 6 face buttons a la the Saturn and SFIV pads.

Also, I still have 2 360 SFIV pads hacked to work properly on UMK3 on XBLA, if anyone is interested.

the only reason we dont use that SF4 pads is cause the d-pad is weird.. i cant do laos spin on them worth shit.

Anyway, with the New MK on the horizon I'm getting back into MK as well. BTW I'll play on a stick just on an MK style stick. I just can't play any MK on an SF Stick

I really hope Kaijin and Four V2 are still alive. 2 of the best umk3 players I've ever played in FL.
