In SF we call it a "corpse hop". A cross-up hits, a corpse hop is just switching sides but it's usually ambiguous to the point where you can't really see it and block the right direction in time.
Even if it's not ambiguous, corpse hops are still good for position advantage, baiting or to reset back charge / wake up rolls.
I'm hopping over my opponent then my option are to do a cross up or do a 50/50 but first I have to do a 1f2 but the f2 have to miss and 1 has to connect in order for it to hop over my opponent
A good name would be step over because that's what it is called in the SF community when makoto steps over to the other side of a knocked down opponent.
