I'm mostly a marvel player and my MK skills are lacking, but I was told there was a decent sized MK community here and that I should let you guys know about the next tournament in the area. There is usually a turnout of at least 50 split between various games. Hope some of you can make it

* Nice, big, room with plenty of tables and chairs
* Located near many restaurants
* Pool may also be open until 8.
* Full kitchen and living room area to hang out in.
* No closing time. The clubhouse stays open until the tournament ends.
*** Tournament Rules***
* Seeded round robin pools of 5 or 6 with top 2 making it into a double elimination bracket. Top placers from previous BOSS events begin in bracket.
* Timer set to 99 secs (90 for MK9)
* Default Handicap setting
* All games except finals are best of 3. Finals are best of 5
* Winning players must keep the same character(s)
* (MVC3) Winning players must keep the same assists during a set. Losing players may switch
* (SSF4) Winning players may switch ultras during a set
* (Tekken 6) Rounds set to best of 5 rather than best of 3.
* All characters are legal except Kratos (MK9) for being a console specific character.

Players received 9 points for 1st, 6 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd, 2 for 4th, and 1 for 5th place finishes at previous BOSS events. The top 4 players in SSF4 AE and MvC3 and the top 2 players in MK9 and Tekken 6 advance straight to bracket. These players have stars next to their names.
