Another great turnout of 14 players! And yet another new player joined our ranks...WestCoast Jeff! The notion that he might join us put some fear in ATP, as the last time they played Jeff beat ATP at LSB2. It turned out ATP labbed Gunslinger for nothing because Jeff was locked in to his new character of choice: Smoke. Jeff, however, suffered a round 1 defeat at the hands of BLTMr.Nauj.
Grand Finals West Coast Jeff (L) vs ATP (W)
Despite the odds, Jeff played his heart out to make it to Grand Finals where ATP would get another crack at him. ATP was in a healthy position on winners side, but Jeff went up to a strong 2-0 lead. Not to be out-played, ATP ran it back 2-2. Jeff began to ask the big questions. And instead of sticking to his guns he switched to Brawler Cassie. Game 5 did go 3 rounds, but the loss of mobility from Smoke to Cassie did Jeff no good. ATP claimed victory in the first set.
