Last night we had the largest turnout in quite some time. Defending NorCal native BLTMr.Nauj would have an uphill battle to climb as SenorAbram made a long awaited appearance and ATP was also in attendance. JerzeyReign put all his training to the test. A champion in the making he fought all the way to Winners Semis only to lose to SenorAbram. JerzeyReign defeated the likes of DrGoodBear and Vibu, and earned himself a respectable 4th place.
Winners Finals was a close set between SenorAbram and ATP, after being down 0-2 ATP pulled out all his gusto to completely run it back. For the first time, SenorAbram found himself in the Losers bracket. In Losers Finals BLTMr.Nauj & SenorAbram played the longest set of the night. The set started out as a grueling zoning battle leading to near timeouts. SenorAbram did defeat Mr.Nauj 3-1 and would get another chance at ATP.
Grand Finals ATP (W) v SenorAbram (L)
The matchup Austin had been waiting for was nothing but anticlimactic. ATP's reads were godlike and SenorAbram missed many punish opportunities against War God. Abram had a chance to get on the board when he switched to HQT Predator but he dropped a game winning combo. Remaining poised, ATP woke up with EX OH Sword and called it a night.
Next Time...
Will the once undefeated SenorAbram come back stronger than ever? Will ATP defend his throne once again? Will Dust's mop head be captured on camera? Will Vibu return actually having practiced his "new" character? Next week holds the answers. See you there!
