Art Institutes Minnesota MKX Charity Drive

We raised 108$ for out annual film festival, just by playing MKX, and a few other fighters.

Just thought I'd post this for fun, and to show off I teach at Ai Minnesota and we host a video game day once a quarter for current students and alumni. This quarter we had a great turnout, with one tekken setup, three mkx setups, a skull girls setup, and a smash setup. We also had a fundraiser for charity and we raised 108$ for our annual film festival. We did money matches for the charity and had free brackets for the games. Fun was had


We plan to run this again Summer Quarter. Next time we will stream too!!! Stay tuned for more info.

Well, there are also tournaments you should come to. Including one at the Rosedale Mall this Friday, look up the MN FGC Facebook group, and MN MK facebook groups for more info. Hope to see you there

The lawsuit stuff is definitely a bummer. Even though our campus isn't directly related the massive financial amount will effect all the campuses. Luckily I teach at several colleges so we good.

Also, if you are interested in starting a club or group at your school, you should go for it! Talk with your teachers and advisers. We operate as 'Animation Club' where we book a room, and host animation activities and program related things, then once a quarter we do a purely for fun thing, like video game day. Since we are very productive all the time, we have no problem setting aside time to play. We work hard and play hard
