Are you an early or late clasher?

So what is it? When you are on your second life bar do you clash early or clash later on when your health drops <50%?

After watching UFGT and some local streams and even online, I see a ton of people going for that clash early on in their second life bar. I even saw a few guys using three meters when it looks like they only lost <20% of their life or it is the first combo/damage that they have taken in that life bar. And I also noticed that some people also used up their clash when this opponent has even or more meter. I can understand clashing if you are even to get that space from the other guy, especially if you are a zoner.

I personally only use clash when I am <50%. My only exception to that is if I am facing a strong zoner and they have a greater life lead than I do where they can just zone me and know that every mistake I make trying to get in will kill me.

So are you an early clasher or a later on clasher?

Thanks.

Well for me it depends on what I need the meter for. If I'm playing a meter based char like Doomsday, I'll probably hold on to my meter until the last breath, and clash if I have no choice.

When I'm going at it with Bane I usualy clash when they get me comboed in the lvl3 cooldown, so it can wear off :)

I can't say I have a specific time to use the clash. Usually with Sinestro I clash very early so I can get spacing and health back, if they got in on me.

It depends on so many things. It wouldn't be suprised if there was a guide made for clashing, and if it isn't, it would be a good idea :)

I used to go for the early combo-breaker as a sort of "get it out of the way" deal, but now I wait until either I have full meter or the same amount of meter as my opponent (guaranteed to negate damage of combo regardless of opponent's meter- a true combo breaker if you will) Or basically when I know their combo is going to kill me.

Better to keep your options open, I suppose.

Tired, But Strong
Depends on the matchup.

For instance, if I'm playing Bane against a character like Superman, I'm a very late clasher.

But if I'm Deathstroke vs. Wonderwoman, I'm very early (presuming my meter is equal or greater than hers).

Bane doesn't want Superman to be far away from him. Deathstroke very dearly wants Wonderwoman to get outta town.

I usually clash early. If you wait too long the opponent will start trying to chip you. That happened to me one too many times. So now I go for it early. I am still a little used to MK9... so I use it as a ghetto combo breaker.

Neither, just at the perfect time ;)
I usually get a clash off around half life bar *Early into the combo of course* but make sure I watch that I have 2 bar advantage for health back.

It depend on the match I usually clash after someone uses all they bar in a combo and let them combo me again so I can get my life for free.. But most good players dont let u clash

Hmmm..... should Grundy save bars for clash, or save bars for 80% combo.... why do I feel like I've been here before with a certain yellow robot.....

You can already tell by watching high level play that people arent going to allow late clashing. You're better off burning it early.

I will clash at almost any given time regardless if my life bar, I use it as a strategy of sorts or a tactic. I try to build a sizable amount of meter either towards the end of my 1st life bar or at the beginning of my 2nd, my main goal is to try an ensure I have more meter than my opponent, in which case makes there attempt to tie or out match me null and void.

It irks me when people clash in the first combo of their second life bar. I personally, when I clash, it's very situational imo.

I will spit on your tomb!

It never irks me when someone initiates a clash like that, all I can think is well guess you don't need your meter anymore ... The one thing that actually annoys me and its only because I know damn well it was a bad move on their part for doing it is when one trys to use a super close to the beginning of the match as if that is going to trully give them such a higer advantage, especially when its characters like Harly or Batgirl who benifit more from MB attacks than a super.

I know it tends to give me a higher advantage and I should think them for there idiotic choice, but at the same time all I can think "WHY Why would you do that, are you even trying to win?"
