Arcade stick problem

I don't know which thread to post this in so I decided to go into this one. The problem with my arcade stick is that my joystick isn't working. My buttons are working just fine. I think it might be something wrong with my xbox as I used two different arcade sticks, then all of a sudden the joystick stopped working, even for the new one. Need help please, thank you!

If you have 2 switches next to the dashboard button, switch the one that has the options: LS DP RS, to DP

I don't know what to tell you other that the obvious. Check that the wires are all hooked up on the stick. (should be 4 to 8 for each directional button of the joystick) If possible try it on another Xbox.

Thanks for the help guys, switching the LS DP RS to DP made it working again, I didnt even notice those things until now and i had this stick for 3 years lol. Thank again!!
