Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! WEEEEEEEEE'RE BAAAAAAAACK! We are happy to announce yet another Atlanta Revival for the month of April. Not only are we back, we came back with more games! Also, we need more set ups for these new games. Unfortunately you guys know first come first serve as for the set ups goes. We are not excepting more than five full set ups per game. So..... we are looking for about 30 full set ups so that we can run in a timely manner. Please everyone that is bringing a set up, please come in bright and early which is 11o'clock. Now that i have explained the small talk, let me get on with the good stuff!

$10 for competitor
$5 for spectator

Games: PS3 ONLY!!!
SFXT $10
SC5 $10 3/5 format(MLG standards)
SSF4 AE $10
MVC3 $10
MK9 $10 3/5 format(MLG standards)
Tekken 6 $10
KOF $10 3/5 format(MLG standards)
Melty Blood $10

All regular season games will be a 2/3 game format except for grand finals, winner finals, and losers finals which will be a 3/5 game format. Winner keeps the same charcter/charcters and losers is allowed to change their character. This goes for all games.

I think im going to this, also i told a friend of mine and he is coming too. It will be a first for both of us.

Question - Any word if its going to be ps3 or xbox? my friend has a ps3 arcade stick while i have a qanba arcade stick so iplay both. let me know so i can tell him.

This is next saturday and it starts at 11am? That right?

Also, I asked in another thread, but got no answer. So, I'll just ask again. Do PS2 controllers work on PS3? (I have no idea, I don't own anything playstation wise... it's my sister's controller) If not... does anyone have a controller that I could borrow for this thing?

Looking forward to this so much since it will be my first offline tourney for MK9. Can't wait! Me and Sub are about to blow all of you up! haha

Ps2 requires inpin converter - someone will have one as wel as extra ps 3 controller

Ok, I'll bring a PS2 controller then and hopefully borrow a converter. Any idea how much a 360 to Ps3 converter is? That'd be sweet. lol

they are laggy and probably in the $70 range. I have a friend who I can let you talk to, who has an actual ps3 controller designed as if it was an xbox controller, if thats what you are looking for.

Yeah, I just can't get to the BnBs and weekend tourneys b/c of work. Saturdays are my days off. Hence, me going to this one. :)

Something like that would be great. I was just wondering b/c I've never played anything on playstation as I hate the feel of it's controllers... so using a PS3 controller is probably gonna screw me up. =/

I havent gotten a real chance to test it but it cant be any worse than trying to use the ps3 controllers like i have been. It makes me play terrible. Ill definitely be able to test it before revival though and let you know.
Yea it would def be nice to play you offline some. Rain and sonya are both a lot easier offline so well see how it goes :)
