Another Castle Video Games is hosting yet another fighting game tournament! The last event we held had over 25 attendees - let's see if we can make this one even larger!
This event features Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition 2012, King of Fighters XIII, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, and Injustice: Gods Among Us!
"I (Gimpyfish62) will be hosting and running the live stream! We all hope to see you there, if you have any questions feel free to come into the store and ask us, or post in this event and we'll answer your questions as quickly as possible. We'll be streaming at www.twitch.tv/62bitgaming during the event!"
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. That includes arcade sticks or controllers. If you have extra monitors, consoles, and games, they can be used for extra tournament setups or casual stations so be sure to bring those also. We will have a good amount of space.
This event is going to be in 1v1 format. It will be a double elimination bracket, and there is a $10 entry fee per game.
The order of events is currently undecided, but stay tuned.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
11:30am: Tournament Sign-ups open
11:30am: Casual set-ups open
12:30pm: Tournament Sign-ups close
12:50pm: Casual set-ups close
1:00pm: Tournament begins!
Casual set-ups WILL open back up as the tournament progresses, so don't rush out the door if you don't have any more tournament matches left!
Tournament rules are going to be as standardized as possible for each game. More specifics will be posted closer to the event.
