An Ever Evolving Tier List Archive

With a major balance update on the way, I started to think that it would be a good idea to make a thread that shows the tier lists of not only the current patch, but of previous patches as well. This would allow us to possibly gain insight on which buffs and nerfs work and which ones do nothing at all. Then we can ship this information to Ed Boon so that he does the exact opposite of what we suggest based on the data.

However, I'd first like to get a tier list that is generally accepted as an unbiased and accurate tier list. After some looking around I figured that CD Jr's list was one that was a good base to start at. I generalized it into:

Zod : Flash : Martian Manhunter : Catwoman : Wonder Woman : Killer Frost : Green Lantern

Green Arrow : Harley Quinn : Batgirl : Deathstroke : Sinestro : Doomsday : Cyborg : Nightwing : Lex Luthor

Ares : Hawkgirl : Scorpion : Zatanna : Solomon Grundy (Bane : Raven to be moved accordingly they'll be here until I get enough feedback to figure out where to put them)

Lobo : Shazam : Joker

So if anybody is interested, I thought we could tweak the list to be more precise, accurate, and maybe even give reasons to the characters location.

(I did think of trying note the tiers before the current patch, but since the rate of change was constant and fast, I decided against it)

Add Raven to where green arrow is and move Batgirl to where Zod is. I think these characters are really good. Especially Raven.

I'd say at the very least that list sells Raven and Bane fairly short.

Making tier lists has no real impact on what buffs do and don't work. Especially considering tiers haven't really fluctuated that much during the patches.

Diana needs to be up with Clark and Bruce.

Frost needs to be down with Arrow and the like.

I'm honestly not too well versed on Bane or Raven, so thanks everybody for correcting me on that one. how much higher should I move each of them?

Wasted The fact that the tier list has remained stagnant is one of the reasons I made this actually. Joker has been buffed directly twice (1.03 and 1.05) and will be buffed again with the next patch. Between 1.03 and 1.05, there were 5 updates, 4 of which were related to his parry ability, and he'll be getting another parry upgrade. If he still doesn't become viable to play, then I think we'd have a pretty good case to have NRS stop "buffing" Joker via parry.

Catwoman should not be better than Batgirl.

Batgirl & Nightwing should be higher.
Scorpion should be much lower & Shazam is some what higher than that, he contends with the roster as well as ares so why not put him there.
