Alternative controls dash shortcut

Don't know if anyone has notice this with alternative controls on . If you do ,+, or , +, you will get a dash with no need to let go of forward or back.


This will also happen if you are walking forward or backwards . But if you keep hold forward or back after the dash you will not get a second one by doing the same thing.


Seems cool at first. But the problem comes when you are walking forward and go to block low to high you will get a run instead. It also mess with back or forward command attack. There is a pretty big window for the dash to happen.

Interesting stuff, I find it really frustrating for me personally that they use block for EX and run to the point I would rather use xbox pad then stick. MK is the only fighting game I use pad for everything else including injustice is stick all the way.

Do you have alternate controls off? I think this problem goes away if you turn alternate controls on.

It does, but doesn't allow you to do it while holding forward (You can tap forward and roll to df, then back to f to dash)
