My handle is Pyrrhon (peer-on) and I am intrigued by the possibilities of a shared knowledge pool in MK9. I haven't been a member of any forum in years, but with the emergence of what is quite possibly the best Mortal Kombat of all time (childhood memories notwithstanding) I want to take it seriously - read: play competitively or at least semi-competitively.

I prefer aggressive styles; speed over brawn and all that. Naturally I played Scorpion in the demo and am starting to pick up Smoke. If anyone could suggest other characters that can be relentless, it would be much appreciated.

Yea, that could be cool. Although for full disclosure I live on the Jersey side of the Hudson, but the band I play with (Pyrrhon) all the dudes are from, and we practice in, Brooklyn. This Friday we're playing at:
