This one actually rises your hitbox so you're invincible to ground pounds and smoke bombs.

I did, watch the video. Just saw the guy commenting it, there is absolutely no discussion about it there. This deserves a new topic for discussion since it is kinda broken if you are playing against poke relying characters.
It's the same thing. You whiff an air throw midcombo, you become airborne. That is what BildSlash and I were talking about in the other topic. We knew about this when we were messing around with Scorpion's air throw.
