Accept/Decline feature in Online Ranked idea

It's a small world, and generally in Online Ranked people can be quite arrogant. Problem being that the online ranked matching system usually pairs you with the same person again & again & again. Player match has a lovely accept/decline feature so if you are making tea, washing your hair or what you Americans call fapping, you can say NO. Whereas online ranked has no decline feature. If you quit during a match, you lose your point but I do not consider leaving on the character select screen to be quitting because the match has not yet started, and yet I still lose my point from leaving character select when I had no option to decline in the first place.

Would an accept/decline feature in online ranked be acceptable/declineable?

How could you be accurately ranked if one could decline all the matches that they think they would lose? There is a decline in regular matchmaking for a reason. If you go into ranked you should be open season for everyone.
