About the ending of MK11 story...

since there is multiple endings to the story, some of these are possible.

I chose a neutral option, cause its likely they gonna make another MK after this game, and wouldnt surprise me.

But, I feel like something bad could happen, which does lead into the next game (AKA the temporal armageddon)

which gives us our core group of characters as protags for the next game (They better be a good mix, and not all Earthrealmers)

Reset to MK1 era means that Cassie and Jacqui will be wiped from existence because both Johnny and Sonya die. None of the 4 of them will like that, and I'm sure that the younger versions of themselves will not like that idea.

Younger Liu and Kung Lao have no clue (that we know of) that they will die at (or before) Armageddon, therefore, they're not gonna be pleased with the idea of becoming revenants, so I'm actually predicting they'll be fighting to reset the timeline.

We haven't yet seen much of the MK4 timeline and 3D characters, so they're going to need to be written in at some point.

I think what we're going to see is some kind of convergence of timelines, so to speak. Possibly, one where the revenants are eradicated but replaced by their 1st timeline versions. Because time travel is possible, keep in mind that Quan Chi can be brought back and forced to release control of the revenants, so they can come back that way as well.

It appears that light Raiden from the old timeline has knowledge of what he becomes and Dark Raiden has knowledge of his past clearly with the Noob intro conversation. Maybe Cetrion and Fujin can help current Dark Raiden in terms of his newer mentality. I hope they explain how Kronika can have children that are apparently Elder Gods, unless she had Cetrion and Shinnok eons ago and they were regular Gods then the Elder Gods promoted them to Elder Status including tremendous power similar to MK 4 in the original timeline when the EG promoted Raiden to Elder God status, and he chose Fujin as the new protector of Earthrealm to take his place.

NRS has said they don't want to repeat DLC so if Rain isn't in the main roster as a secret character than he may get the shaft in MK 11, but Fujin NEEDS to be in this game. Well, a large majority of them we have seen or they were killed off in the canonical comic series. I don't see them putting much effort into the rest.

MKX didn't have a bad ending though.

Compared to MK9's ending this was tame. It's not like a realm was destroyed and literally the only characters who died were bad guys. Mileena, Baraka, Quan Chi, and Shinnok was beheaded but not killed.

Not a bad ending at all. Dark Raiden isn't 'EVIL' he's just stopped holding back. In the story trailer for MK11 Dark Raiden is working with Special Forces so he's clearly not said fuck off to all.

I predict:
MK11 brings the six realms together.
MK12 gives the full redux to the final acts of the story.

MK11 is part Deadly Alliance and part Deception.
MK12 will be the Shujinko and Onaga half of MKD, and we'll get the retake on Armageddon.

But this is all pre-MK11-Story predicting.
