Video/Tutorial A Shang Tsung Breaker Glitch?

I need you Shang Tsung players to take a look at this interesting glitch my friend and I came across by accident...it's showcased in the below video. Please skip ahead to 11:35 and wait for it.

As you can see, after being juggled by an EX Ground Skull, I attempted to breaker Shang's neutral jump-punch follow-up...but right when I input the breaker and it was taking effect, I'm hit by the next skull in the enhanced attack and not only is the breaker nullified, but I keep my meter.

STRANGER and I both freaked out over the phone when this happened, LOL. Crazy glitch, isn't it?! We felt this would warrant some forum discussion, so I wanted to get your thoughts on this situation.

Skip to 13:35...it's there. Watch when Shang does an EX Skull and I try to breaker only for it to be nullified.

looks like the physical attack connected at the same time as the projectile

since projectiles are unbreakerable i guess it made the melee unbreakerable? the game just kinda threw up on itself on that one... but it looks like that's what happened. i've never seen that before though.

just-frame melee + projectile = fuck yo breaker?

This sounds good. But, it seems like it would be well known though. it was in the middle of his combo, which I don't know any Shang combos that just seems like it would be a popular spot to break.
