EGP Arkade Kombat will return on [2.11.12] with yet another stream, more hype matches, and more competition! We expect to have Vegas at our event and a possible cash pot of $200 on top of everything! No reason for players to take it easy at this event, so expect some great footage, and I hope to either see you there in person, or on the stream chat!



Get ready for another legendary event! The brackets will be huge and so will the cash pots.

Schedule: Every other Saturday beginning on the 28th (1/28, 2/11, 2/25, 3/10, etc.)
1/28: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Super Street Fighter IV AE 2012
2/11: Mortal Kombat 9, Soul Calibur 5, King of Fighters XIII
2/25: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Super Street Fighter IV AE 2012
3/10: Mortal Kombat 9, King of Fighters XIII

Price: $10 cash pot per game, $5 venue fee. Players will be driving in from out of town so we want the cash pots to be worth everyone's time. I will attempt to add additional prizes and cash pot bonuses.
Payout: 70/20/10

Venue Note: James Games is clean, well lit, spacious and in a relatively nice area. Parking is free and ample directly behind the arcade and there is plenty of places to eat in the immediate area. This arcade is pro FGC all the way. You will find almost every game in the Street Fighter line including the "New Challengers", Third Strike and of course AE. They also have the MvC, MvC2, X-Men vs Street Fighter, KOF XIII and many more.

Setup: Asus VH236H Monitors, PS3 Consoles
Rules: Double Elim, Bring Your Own Fighstick (If you only have an XBox fighstick I can provide a MadCatz TE stick for PS3)

I'll try and hit this up with a couple of friends on 2/11. Couple of noob questions: Will there be casual setups as well, and are ps3 pads allowed?

There are always casuals at EGP, and pads are allowed. The majority of our players play on PS3 pads.

Also, for people trying to catch some high level tournament footage.

We will have Online Tony, Denzel Terry, Flawedzilla, MIT, EGP Tyrant, EGP Krayzie, Shoryuken, XBlades, Shords, and many other hidden talents such as Brownie, Red Reaper, PBoard Player, Whats her name, and a huge possibility that some of our NorCal brothers will hit this EGP up.

michaelangelo - Hit this shit up. EGP is always stacked with some of the best SoCal comp, and this wont be the exception. Not only will we have a good number of players like usual, but we will have Las Vegas as well. Get with your NorCal guys and hit this up.

We typically see about 30 heads for these kinds of things (probably more for this one). Plus there will be a $50 cash pot bonus for MK....but we're probably going to make that a lot bigger in the next 2 weeks.

Are those MK arcade cabinets in the pics? Maybe all that time I wasted/spent using the PDP Stick will come in handy :p
