I think the wave right now is Lumbar/Manhandled/Chem Burn. I'm not a huge fan of this custom but it's very effective and mix up heavy. I'm rocking Snake Bite/Manhandled and Pull/Optic Blast/Vege. For me these two customs cover most of my MU's

The scaling is bad with Pull equipped for sure but I still find it useful. I've been messing around with Pull, Optic Blast, and Vege and having fun. Optic Blast is slow on start up but spaced right it's super effective. I call that variation Fire the Laser!

Make F1,2 jail on the entire cast, put a F/B gap in between F1,2, and B2 and leave the entire string plus 2 as is. This would help him out considerable and still keep that string balanced.
