Lets discuss about the character similarities in Mortal Kombat series. I have decided to create this topic because i saw a lot of shitty comment about Geras who has just revealed at MK11 the reveal event. He has totally buried to the ground by who dislike him because of his similarity to another Mortal Kombat character called Tremor.
Shitty commenters, please check requirements that listed below;
- have you ever played against Reptile in MK1?
- have you ever played against Jade, Smoke and Noob Saibot in MK2?
- have you ever played as Human Smoke in UMK3?
if you did not please check them in those games. If you know them already let's begin;
- Reptile was like two in one character in MK1 who can perform Scorpion's spear and Sub-Zero's iceball against you.
- Smoke was just a reeking gray Scorpion, Noob was a black shadow Scorpion in MK2, and Jade was a green Kitana.
- Human Smoke in UMK3 was just a Scorpion with a little bit differences like faster moving skills and some combo buffer.
why i wrote these details; we never called them as a garbage, rip-off characters despite the all similarities to Scorpion or Kitana and guess what happened, all of them has their own fanbase now. You better do same thing to Geras. He has no similarity to Tremor. Keep your mind clear, do not post shitty comment around. Tremor has abilities to control rock, lava and cyrstal, Geras can control sand and time. Totally different things.
