Quickest way to get online matches

Wondering what is the quickest way to get some online matches in a short time.
I find that find quick match is annoying because there is no choice for a rematch where as if I find someone in a room I have the choice to rematch them.
Never tried KOTH as you have to wait tell its your turn to fight.

Just post a status and ask for games online or visit threads where people give out their Tag's and PSN

Try playing a year ago or so when people were still playing the game.

No, but seriously....if you want a lot of games in a row quickly, try KOTH. You can practice while waiting and the game will return you to the lobby one match before you're up. Be warned, though - people are really incredibly bad 90% of the time in KOTH. It's a great way to test out new characters, though.

Player match used to always get me matches pretty fast.

I didn't realise you could practice in training mode while waiting in KOTH.
Might have to try that out but you say people are pretty terrible on their.

I believe you hit RB when in KOTH to enter practice mode. And as I said, you can't miss your match because the game auto-kicks you from the practice mode back into the lobby one fight prior to yours.

If it's not a challenge, then either try to find someone willing to run some sets in Player Matches or just wait in ranked. Really not much else you can do short of asking people on here for games.

If you want the rematch option, just play Player Matches.

yh player vs player match seems to be going well and I'm find a lot more players with better connections.

For me, it's always Player match. In KOTH you have to wait too long if you lose and in Ranked there is no rematch option. Plus, most of the time I can't even connect to a KOTH room.

Player match can be beneficial, but it can also be a pain in the ass. I've given up on player match, as I spend more time getting declined by cherry pickers than I do actually playing the game. Then you get the guys that quit after 1 match anyhow.

As others have said, you can try koth. Or perhaps join a room so you can challenge people as well as use the room's matchmaking at the same time. One tip for ranked/player match though, the matchmaker can break itself randomly. If you find yourself sitting there looking for an opponent for more than 20-30 seconds, back out and join a room, immediately leave the room and go back to ranked/player match. I usually find a game in a few seconds after doing that. Otherwise you end up sitting there in matchmaking limbo for the next minute or two before it fixes itself.

I second about what the others said. If by chance you don't get a room in either ranked match, or KOTH for about 2 mins, you'll need to back out and retry the search. Usually, the search machine does whatever it smokes out of its mind, so you'll need to back out and retry the search 2-3 times before you finally get into the match. It happens to all of us.

The quickest way to get games is to go to your local Jamba Juice and ask random strangers for sets in MK. It's like picking up cuties at Whole Foods but it's much more effective.
