I REALLY don't want to be that guy, I love Flet and he's a sick player and a sick guy.

But, I think your comments about "I've seen a lot of players saying CSZ is bad, how can you say he's bottom 10 with what we're seeing right now?!" need addressing.

I saw an even matchup where zero punishable moves get punished. I saw a stubborn opponent continue to try and zone when they were consistently trading with Ice ball. No NJP punish, barely any slide punishes, no divekick punishes, dropping loads of combos and getting hit by b3d4 after the b3 was blocked.

My point has and always will be that in these situations, there is another Borg that will do the job better. Smoke and Sektor clearly do fine against Bone Shaper and predator and don't need to put themselves in as much risk to get the job done. CSZ doesn't play a matchup better than any other variation by himself, which in turn, makes him almost irrelevant, AKA a bad character IMO.

Any character can look good when the opponent isn't playing the matchup properly.

Congrats to Flet regardless and it's nice to see him playing characters that aren't the norm.

I don't know about Sektor, but... Smoke does fine overall against the zoners, like Ermac, Quan Chi, and such. I'm learning Smoke for that purpose.

I strongly agree on this one (the whole post, not just the snippet)
this community is somewhat stuck on the idea that a matchup is set in stone and the result of a (few) set should ALWAYS reflect the on-paper balance we discuss on social media

each game and especiallyt tournaments play, puts in the mix something unpredictable; the players

I am firmly convinced that the outcome of a round or a whole game is determined almost (where almost being the key word here) exclusively by the players
and there's so much that can be thrown into a discussion like this including abusing unsafe tactics or risky techniques that the opponent doesn't allegedly seem to know or know how to deal against

Sektor gets either a reaction teleport, a raw teleport into dash mixup that makes them fear even using a projectile, or missile trade that he's likely to block first with that leads to hard knockdown into his turn.

3 of the 4 triborg variations handle zoning well.

In cis now not much of a tounament life, so i play more for fun, than result, and csz awesome. So ye smoke and sector > csz, dunno about cyrax. Csz's njp is hard to punish, its like hes pseudosafe mid for check button mashing, so i need to spam such thing. Hes f43 is worst, unsafe and lead to no dmg at all.
