Things You Like About IGAU

There seems to be an awful amount of doom and gloom on these here message boards the past two weeks/months. Everyone is getting so worked up over how so and so is broken, this guy should be banned, this stage should be banned, how the game is done after EVO, there is no more chocolate milk, etc.

I personally believe that people are still having fun playing this game and still finding new tech daily. Heck, personally, this is the most fun I've had with a fighting game in a long time and I came from the Super Turbo days. I'm still loving how the emphasis on spacing/interactables add an extra layer to the game, and how each character's traits makes all of the cast almost entirely unique from one another. I believe this game still has room to grow, and there is more broken stuff in there to beat the broken stuff as well (ala MVC2/UMVC3 style). But that's just me, you don't have to agree.

I want to know what you guys love about the game after the last two months its been released! Stories, short lists, points, haikus, whatever.

Leave the whining on the other threads, I believe in the Injustice Community.

I enjoy this game a lot. I think I have more fun playing than mk9. I prefer the back to block much more. was a little worried about it pre release but I've come to love it. Characters are awesome as well and has gotten me into comics.

I really like the feel of bounce cancel combos and pinballing folks for combos. I just have a lot of fun finding new ways to lift opponents up higher in practice. Its like a puzzle game doing that and I really enjoy it. I also like the trait button...every character having a gimmick that lets them play with a different tool to augment their strategy is really fun just like it was in Blaz Blue.

Also I really like all the alt outfits that keep coming out as they are so fanservice oriented in comic book lore that its wonderful. That and just the general amount of attention the developers pay to us all and our feedback is something I find warming.

Plus the roster is stellar. Nothing but big draws. The Majority of DC fans will find someone here to be excited about.

in-game frame data , a very good practice mode , a semi-decent online , it's all good. But the game itself I find too narrow. The "interactable adding more depth" isn't a valid argument in my eyes because it seems like it's more of a "use it if it's there" thing rather than "I gotta dominate this position" thing. There are exceptions, of course.But for the majority.

Frame data, comboing is fun, character variety by that I mean every character has a different play style (not like ryu ken akuma thing, you know what I mean), good story mode, star labs, playing as Raven, Catwoman's ass, and the community. The NRS community really the best community I have ever been apart of. I feel that this community the most accepting in terms of new players coming into the scene and the most passionate about there games, despite the negativity connected to them.

In game frame data, b3/f3 is wonderful, the game looks beautiful, and in general, it's a lot of fun. I also like how there are true crossups in the game

Despite my gripes, I really do enjoy:
- Extreme variety in character design, even if NRS has no idea how to balance their shit (Lex Luthor's design/gameplay is sooo unique)
- A practice mode that should be the golden standard for all other fighting games going forward (frame data right there and in-depth move explanations should be standard)
- Pushblock for 1 meter (very interesting implementation for a "street fighter" style game)
- Universal overhead/wallbounce/armor mechanics (make it approachable for newer players)

Things I like.....

1. The Roster, mother of god the roster.

2. Costumes are nice

3. Stages are cool

4. Combos are awesome to watch when they come together

5. The personality the characters have in their actions and win animations.

6. The Practice Mode of god.

I really like the combo and b3/f3 system. I could never get into MK9 but Injustice for some reason really grabbed me and hasn't let go. The tons of costumes, the updates, hell just the attention NRS has been paying in general. Wonder Woman is really fun, plethora of options for spending meter, trait button helps to make characters unique ala Blazblue (Only "anime fighter" I've ever been good at)..... yeah I think that's it.

Really though it's interesting to watch i guess. I hate playing it more than i hate getting teeth pulled, but watching really isnt bad.

I like the fact that no character feels the same in terms of playstyle and the footsie based gameplay this game demands due to lack of strong mixups. It also helps that the Georgia community for this game is one of the best communities I have ever been apart of.

i love the mechanics the interactable stages the roster is sweet despite my bitching on who is and isnt in it.
i love the clashes

the dislikes i have is the lack of a good arcade ladder ( i say the same for all fighters)

the favoritisim of putting in more batman charachters over charachters people want

season pass regarding batgirl and scorpion

just 24 charachters playable on roster and having 8 charachters being dlc

the skins..................... i am so not happy with how certain charachters get zero treatment
