For the second week in a row, Rico Suave put a stamp on New York's Next Level Battle circuit with his Black Adam. After running up against his recent rival CD Jr. in Winners finals, the dominant-looking Dominican brother sent Rico to losers in a 3-0 set with Superman. Following an exciting set between character chameleon Jailhouse (Batgirl, Green Lantern) and UFGT multi-champ Chris G which Chris took 2-0, Rico and Chris met each other in Losers finals.

Rico harassed Chris' Green Arrow repeatedly with ample lightning and a variety of good reads in a set that is an insightful watch for players of both characters. Rico won 3 close matches to make his way to Grand Finals, and quickly reset the bracket 3-0, going on to take the second set and clinch the top spot.

Rico has been training with some of NY's top players, and is being held up by some as being the 'Black Adam of America'. Along with Godspeed in California and Smarrgasm in Atlanta, Black Adams everywhere have been taking local tournaments and causing problems for a lot of the cast. Will we see a BA take a major in the near future? (Note: The stage is set for a 3-way Adam showdown at CEO on June 28th-30th).

Rico's black Adam was on point, and he prevented the use of interactables pretty good as well. Overall, very good showing, and congrats. Can't wait to see who wins WNF :)

Smarrgasm

What's a Smarrgasm?
Awesome stuff by Rico representing Black Adam as always. NO ONE IS OUR EQUAL. Cant wait to meet him and play at CEO.

DLC released 2 weeks before CEO will be allowed. So technically people could use Scorpion correct?
I mean, if his anti-zoning is as good as everyone says, perhaps it will not always be a world of dictators?

On topic: Some of Rico's reads were ridiculous! Congrats!
