Oh that's the problem, you forgot to link breath!F2,3.....
this very much.I agree it's too early for some things.
But early enjoyment is important for being romanced into the game. If I can't get passionate the first few months. I'm not gonna stick around and hope for the best later is all.
Your my second favorite poster.Raynex the first.Oh that's the problem, you forgot to link breath!
Take my Namco example: a company that has been basically releasing the same game for years with changes and additions to the engine. Still they do these extensive tests to flesh out some glaring issues.that's not what we were talking about, go back in the quotes if you dont believe me. you're right that interact is a different issue, but the basic gameplay issues that YOU SAID are the same issues as early mk9 ought to have been corrected.
Curious, why do you prefer dial strings over command normals and links?
Well, as a general question, anyone can answer.
My only experience with them is in Skullgirls so I dunk if we mean the same thing lolI like command normals....if we're talking about the same thing, but I still prefer dial strings because they are (to me) easier than links. The leniency for input is different in Injustice than it is for mk9 though. I find that part a little...bothersome when I'm trying to do 112 with Harley and whiff the 11 intentionally and can't get the 2 to come out(ranged pistol shots). That's just one example though.

Yeah I feel on blast, lol.Far as I remember there were a ton of people being cool with the game being scrub friendly because it would bring in more people and help the community grow.
Now that people are getting blown up by "random scrub friendly shit" they are pissed and start bitching? Intredasting......
Not saying I agree with having random factors in fighting games but I find it funny that there was all this talk about "adapting" then these posts of hidden tears.
cheap safe shit that people are obviously going to exploit until it's not safe anymore. it was off of m2dave's post where he noted that the gameplan in this game is very simple, one move for footsies and safe mixups once you're in and you dont have to learn anything else about your character after that, so most people dont. this foo said that it was also a problem early in mk9, so it doesnt matter, but i'm saying that there's no excuse for a dev not to have corrected shit that they corrected in the previous game before releasing a new game. that's just bad game development.
Too much theory, my head burns. . I guess it's easy for me to dial up combos than linking them. Normals into command normals into specials into super are fine but in KOF some combos are ridiculous hard...this reply doesn't mean I like you I still love to hate you. .Curious, why do you prefer dial strings over command normals and links?

Eventhough the keep working with the same formula they reckon what worked in previous installments might get broken once new elements are added.
Same thing is expected to happen in Injustice, specially since it is a big departure from MK.
P.S. Don't call me a "foo".
Oh don't get me wrong, we'd do that Beat It knife game if we ever met. We're enemies. :3Too much theory, my head burns. . I guess it's easy for me to dial up combos than linking them. if only i had cash to spare!i would so buy mk.
it's sorta more specific than that, but just like you didnt want to read more i didnt want to type more, lol. This happens in every game though, seriously there is hardly a fighter (or any competitive game for that matter) where the early "cheap shit" isn't exploited to the max until people find a way to beat it or something better comes along.
Couldn't this be said for any fighter as well? You find what works best for your footsies while making yourself as safe as possible while damage your opponent.
I can't fault Injustice for this because I see it in just about EVERY fighting game, the easiest and cheapest things will be used early on for quick wins.

it's one of those things i wouldnt mind saying, but typing takes too long to tell the story, lol
This is identical to how i feelNeither game is perfect, but I and many other high level players agree that MK9 is the better game. And no, I am not saying this because I can't perform in this game. I was blown up in MK9 this weekend and placed 2nd in Injustice. In Mortal Kombat, Someone who is new to the game will get completely destroyed because it is unforgiving and demands that you have a strong footsie game. In Injustice however, they just need to learn the basic gimmicks of their character (particularly top tier characters) and they will be able to stay competitive. I was able to play Dizzy and 16 bit for awhile in casuals and I really felt that when I got beat, it was because of bad reads or spacing. When i beat them, it was because I was on point with my reads and pressure. I was not gimmicked out. I will continue to play and level up in Injustice, but I am not sure that I will ever think it is better than MK.
maybe I can return Persona...but I keep it around just in case I ever feel like finishing the story.Noob is broken, he's got portal glitches that they should totally make a real part of him next game lol. Look up the Lord of Shadow stuff by CHECK4900 or InFlames it's sweet shit
He still sucks tho
What?! A perfectly reasonable post? ON THIS SITE?!This game is absolutely fantastic and this community as a whole has a habit of blowing things way out of proportion.
Interactables are this game's only real problem. This game has excellent footsies, I have no idea what people are talking about when they say it doesn't. Dash block is preference, I absolutely hated it in MK as I never felt like my opponent ever had to commit. Character diversity in this game is just as good as MK. Support NRS and keep playing, I bet you all find how much you love in other the next few months.
I would like to respond to the last part. I'm pretty sure Aris is doing extremely well in SoCal. He is making a couple of top MK players look free in IGAU.
