Because every time fanboys rage that if they don't put non popular characters in the game is at some sort of risk they prove you wrong. The game is successful because of the mainstream characters, not the other way around. The obscures are just fluff.

Never said there weren't but nobody's bigger than the bats, not even Superman. Well, maybe Superman. But nobody's bigger than the trinity and the Battle Arena proved at least among fans of Injustice, the bat is king of the trinity. So obviously his family's going to get first pick.

Flash is probably the biggest non-trinity character, and he didn't even get a villain spot.

yeah, but i would say green lantern is bigger, i want an aquaflash villain so bad, i want captain manta! sucks that killer frost is in without being big or relevant in any way, without firestorm.
