Most of us, if not all of us, know Carl "Perfect Legend" White as an accomplished tournament player in the FGC. Already he is grinding it out hard and perfecting his fundamentals for Injustice: Gods Among Us...and today, he comes before you all to offer lessons where he will help you along the path to improving your skills - but not without a small fee. "Yes guys I will be doing lessons for Injustice: Gods Among Us at a very low cost. $15 for the first session and $10 for any return session.

Not gonna bust your pockets as I want to help the community level up and for everyone to play at a high level!

We can either play for an hour or play to a set amount of games your choosing between ft5, ft10, ft15, ft20.

After that I will evaluate what you should work on and also give you any tips I feel that will help improve game. I won’t hold back any information I am totally an open book!

If you have problems in match ups I will help you overcome the match and give you the best strategies needed to win. Having trouble with tournament nerves? I got you covered!

I think that this is a great idea, but I offer a suggestion to anyone who is considering signing up for sessions:

If at all possible, make sure that you are using a WIRED connection when having your online session with PL. As good as an instructor that I'm sure PL is, even he can only do so much if he has to contend with lag spikes because of a wireless connection. It will only add more benefit and reward to you and your session with him if you go wired.

JWong and many others have been doing this in SF for 2 years. Nothing new and it's not a bad offer. I personally wouldn't do it but I get why people would. This is similar to exercising, not understanding how to put it all together and then getting a personal trainer until you're on your own.

Top players already offer sessions in League and Starcraft, PL is just offering it to the FGC.

Why does it matter if it's a "Video Game" lesson, it's something he has expertise on and is providing his time to help you out, just like any other service you can purchase.

My only issue with this is that Perfect Legend hasnt done anything (in terms of tournament play) in injustice YET. I have no doubts that he will be successful, but until he is this doesnt make sense because he's not a top injustice player yet.
That being said, Carl has been extremely successful in every fighting game he has touched, so *shrug* maybe it's inevitable and signing up early wouldnt be a bad idea for people.

He doesn't need to have tournament results to help people learn a game. Just because he hasn't won anything yet doesn't mean he doesn't have a solid general understanding of how the game works or good fighting game fundamentals in general and he can't help people with that.

Yeah i know, but it just seems like at this early stage of the game he has as much to learn about injustice as the rest of us. What tournament results do is prove the previous sentence wrong.
