Wishlist: Alt/Extra costumes

These two are by far the easiest and most potentially profitable packs they could put in this game.


Every character in this game has been on a DC animated universe show or movie, and every one of them has a classic costume.


The DCAU costumes don't have to (and probably shouldn't) be cartoony.


The classic costumes should have been free and in the game from day 1 anyway.

yes for classics, dc animated are classics most of the time, and we may actually get the classics with the dlc characters, you know for the compatibility packs, unless we get the alternate characters as costumes.

Animated costumes not cartoony? I guess that you mean that they shouldn't be silly looking, but I don't think any game featuring them has done that anyway. Probably not a risk. They look great in Arkham City, so I think they would be popular for at least a handful of characters (be reasonable, no way they do one for every character). As long as we get the original, yellow seal Bats for TAS rather than the redesigns, I am on board.

I don't know if we'll see classics. I'll be pleased when I get to use the New52, which are close enough to my expectations, for an alternate universe brawler anyway.

Support, but some characters would have different options - Nightwing, in particular. Robin or Nightwing?

These are some DLC character full voice/into/outro/clash swaps I'd like to see:

Hal Jordan - Jon Stewart
Hawkgirl - Hawkman
Nightwing - Robin
Batman - Owlman
Superman - Zod
Wonderwoman - Wondergirl
Green Arrow - Arsenal
Barry Allen Flash - Wally West Flash

I think these would be particularly less expensive for NRS to produce than true characters with their own animations. While they wouldn't have any impact on gameplay, they would give us more options at the character select screen.

Who would you like to see as an alternate?

Definitely behind this, especially for the characters that only have two costumes(Hawkgirl and Raven for instance).

All of yours are totally the ones I would want to see done, but also a Red Hood for Nightwing. If Superman gets the Zod one he should just keep his Regime outro lol "Kneel before me!".

Poison Ivy - Killer Frost
Okay, let me explain this one. You might think it's dumb, having a Villain who controls plant-life as an alternate skin for someone who controls the cold, but come on. The moves work. Plus, look at her appearance. Give her red hair, normal skin, and edit the costume a little. BAM. You have Ivy. But, back to the moves. They do work, just replace the ice spike that comes out of the ground with a vine coming out of the ground. Replace the icicles that she throws this leaf-knives. Then, for the Supermove, just make the ice walls into walls of vines with spikes.

I just started to think while playing today on the kind of quality the DLC costumes will be.... will they have unique Clash quotes like the Regime/Insurgency costumes do? And will they have unique intros and outros (kinda like Yellow Lantern)? What do you guys think?

For two, I think Killer Frost should have some of her concept artwork as some costumes.
I also made one up. Since in her ending she becomes Ice Queen, why not give her something related? She could have longer flowing hair that actually moves, a circlet on her head, and more elegant bejeweled clothing. Her capes would also be long and touch the floor, with a snowflake pattern carved into them. She'd also have a headress behind her head made of ice (Think Edea from Final Fantasty)

Raven could also use a few of her concept costumes, along with Hawkgirl.
Green Lantern could get a Kyle Rayner costume from when he obtained all of the rings. His attacks and such could fluctuate color. I think it'd be pretty cool to see tbh.
