Basically they only gave it 8.2 the reason I say only is by the way he's describing the game, that he's gonna give it higher, now a low scre at all, just for IGN standerd that gives everything 9s and 10s it seems low

I know we don't care for review I'm still getting it either way just nought I'd post it,

P.S I wouldn't be offended if this thread is closed for a thread with all collections ff reviews

The IGN review was a little strange IMO. The video review was making it seem like the game was "amazing" which is a 9+ on their scale, but he gave is lower. Someone else said it though, IGN historically rates fighters fairly low. MK9 got an 8 from IGN, UMvC3 got an 8.5, SC5 got a 7.5; when it comes to fighters they really just don't have the right staff to go in on them.

I'm a little confused with the IGN review. Why did they put a negative as questionable balance? How do they know how the game will evolve or did he just get mad because some guy at the office cheesed him out? If it was for the environmental hazards, he could have just turned them off.

It's strictly from the scrub's perspective, which is why I never take reviews for fighting games into account. UMVC3 got like a nine or some shit...a nine...out of ten.

ign is full of idiots and are only it it for money

also keep in mind the only review that matters is in your not some site wich ever one it is

Im not rating whore but i recommend everyone here to wack up a good score on meta critic to balance out the so called "official reviews"

I tend to take IGN's reviews with a grain of salt. I prefer to read what the players say about a game. What are its strengths? What are its weaknesses? Its replay ability? Considering the revenue and sales targets involved with the video game industry today certain games can't afford to get a negative review. It amazes year in and year out Madden and NCAA Football continues to get 8 and 9 from IGN.

This is a game that appeals to the masses of batman and superman nerds. It appeals to the basement comic book dwellers and very casual gamers in general.

It is nothing special. The graphics look like dog poop. The fighting is very easy almost to the point of being insulting, at least to veteran fighting game fans. It is just a decently fun game. It will be forgotten very soon.

The devs know that the DC license will give them plenty of sales. They did not put much effort into this game at all, and it shows. However, this game is not horrible. It is enjoyable, especially for casuals.

I laugh at people who know nothing of fighters that make claims about balance issues. The guy at Target in the game department was telling another customer that the game is great but the intractables ruin the game because they are unblockable, he kept telling the customer that they need to be patched. Why can't people just let the game develop? And btw Target guy, you work at Target for a reason, know your place.

The people who review fighters at sites like this don't fully understand the game at a high level. The review is really for the casual gamer that wants to play a super hero fighter, and merely touches on some aspects that are geared towards the hardcore. When you step back and take a look at the bigger picture the FGC is just a small part of the user base so I don't blame them for not fully catering to us.

Everyone seems to think balance is a problem, and Deathstroke gets mentioned a lot. Obviously for players "in the know" we look at the game differently; but I hope it doesn't become a barrier for more casual players.

For the general public it is a fair score IMO. But as for the amount of value competitors will get out of Injustice it is easily a 10 in our eyes.

To be fair, alot of the interactable complaints make sense. Why are they set at 20% damage (give or take a few percent). Why not be at 10% and if they were found to be underused or not as useful as intended to buff the damage. I'm sure they would be getting the same use as they are right now if they did half the damage.

who cares? as long as the gameplay is fine people shouldnt worry about interactibles

does everything need to be buffed do to every form of bitching and moaning?

im more worried about players who hack there xboxes and have a big advantage with a one punch or kick knock out and i have dealt with a few of those people

Reading fighting game reviews from these sites is like reading a music review of your favorite band's new album written by someone who's obviously never listened to them before.

You can't expect them to get it, nor should they be taken seriously. They thought marvel was good. anythign else need to be said?
