concerning GameStop midnight releases

I know the GameStop my wife works at will be having a midnight release. And there is a possibility that there will be a tournament leading up to the release (unsure if it will be mk9 or possibly injustice itself) run by myself and my brother 9.95. He is communicating with the store manager to see if we can set something up and possible prizes awarded. If there is a tournament I'm sure my brother will make an announcement. Obviously it will be in Long Island

Not sure if my GS is doing midnight release, but I get off work late on Mondays and I always pass GS on my way home, so it wouldn't hurt me to stop by that night and check.

STORMS - Go get the Walmart or Amazon version instead.(Forget midnight release!) That way you will have the Red Son and New 52/Arkham City pack.

Ahh.. okay. Make sense. I would get the Battle Edition if I didn't have to get the game for Xbox and PS3.(lol will anyone get this game for WiiU?)

Anyway, I need get the Collectors Edition, I stop following the comic. :(

My gamestop is in a mall too and if they get good enough numbers they still do midnight releases. They always brag to me that I won't have to wait out in the cold like the other gamestop lol

I had to stop shopping at my mall-based Gamestop, because they would always tell me they were doing a midnight release and text me about it, and I would show up at 11:50 with the gate closed and the lights off. After the 3rd time, I started shopping at the other location.

MY GAMESTOP TOLD ME THEY ARE FOR SURE DOING A MIDNIGHT RELEASE! I hope they have a copy of the game in one of the PS3's and lemme play while I wait! :cool:

No way does that noob have a large hitbox. On a related note game stop customer service for pre orders are no better or worse than Walmart. Subject to the area not the franchise.

And you are apparently VERY near me. Thats Merrits Creek's Gamestop you are in. I live in Barboursville. Also me and my Wife sew too. We're the dudes who at a few Tsubasacon's ago did Mega Man and Protoman with the blaster arms from the Protomen show. We also did Crashman, Quickman, The Prince of Persia, Deadpool, Edgar, Sabin, and a couple of others. We've likely seen each other before. Looks like we may be able to try to setup times to run sets on occassion.

It's pretty safe to say that my EB Games won't have one since it's in a mall without its own entrance :( Ah well. At least I'll be we'll rested for the grind on Tuesday :D

I have pre-ordered many games from Amazon and they all arrived on the release date as specified. Some games you pay a little extra for release date delivery (Most of the time its like 5 dollars) and some they allow you to have release date delivery for free. But with the $10 credit you will still be coming out ahead. I almost always use Amazon for pre-orders but went with Gamestop this time so that I could get my game as soon as they open. ( I usually dont get any packages until late afternoon)

It will come to you day of release about the normal time your mail gets there. Whenever I do release date delivery I get my game at about 1:30-2PM. It's guaranteed and very reliable in my experience and I have ordered from them since about the time of Skyrim. Release date delivery will cost you a pretty penny if you aren't a prime member, I think it was $18 dollars(ish) before I got prime. I did get Halo 4 a day early but nothing early or late besides that.
