Season pass isn't my thing, I don't like pre buying DLC that could either suck, be super glitchy, or a character I hate.

Will pick and choose when they are out.

I've been expecting a Season Pass announcement, and am definitely happy to see it. The part I find a little disappointing is the "Get All 4..." line. I was honestly expecting more than a roster of 28 characters, especially considering how many popular choices still haven't made it into the game.

A reveal trailer for dlc characters when the original roster isn't even fully known? that would be some fucked up shit.

I have a feeling that the DLC characters aren't fully decided on and subject to change.

More importantly: The silhouettes are most def placeholders, as the 2nd or 3rd one looks remarkably similar to the one used for The Flash's action figure partner.

the game isn't limited to an extra four characters, only the season pass is. Who knows what will happen after the four characters have been released? They could release extra characters after or even a second season pass.

How does one buy a season pass? Never did it before.

If you buy from a store like Gamestop, you can just purchase the code there, which will print on your receipt. You just enter that code in the "Redeem Code" section of your xbox menu (or the ps3 equivalent) and it will download the dlc characters as soon as they're released.

When I think about it, this game probably has the biggest potential for DLC out of any Midway/NRS game so far. The reason is:

In MK games, a lot of people's favorite chars have been in the game to begin with. DLC in MK9 was mainly for 'extras' who were solid additions. Also, alternate costumes were nice, but they were mainly for variety.

-however-

In the case of Injustice, a lot of the fanbase is comprised of comic book fans. These are people that are *die hard* about characters, storylines, etc. So a costume from Adam West Batman, an alternate form of Nightwing/Robin, or a skin from the New 52 line is more than just a nice change of clothes to these guys; it represents a whole identity and plotline for a character.

Add to this that someone like Lobo, who Ed was hinting at, is a character that people have been screaming about for months. So although Freddy and Skarlet were neat, there's a whole other level of significance and fan frenzy behind including one of these rumored DC characters as a DLC.

Overall I think that DLC sales and pre-sales for this game will probably go far above and beyond what we saw for MK9.

Anything you purchased on PSN can always be downloaded again free of charge. Unless you got it with PlayStation Plus and cancelled your service or something.

It's a separate purchase. I'm pretty sure you can pre-order a Season Pass, but considering it's a digital download, the only reason would be to either get it paid for beforehand or just to increase the sales rep's pre-order numbers (which is a huge help to them, btw). Otherwise, you can just purchase one when you pick up your pre-ordered copy of Injustice.

I'm guessing the silhouettes are simply generic placeholders (taken from the already announced cast) until they are ready to identify them....NRS probably won't be identifying DLC characters until after the on-disc characters are fully announced.

I sure hope they're placeholders. Haha. They all look exactly the same, save for slightly different ears. Here's hoping at least a couple of the future DLC characters are awesome females.
