While there is unfortunately no new video to show right now of these two gadget characters, Maxwell McGee has written a review of both Batman and Green Arrow based off of how they will play in Injustice and a look at what their moves will be as well as the inventory they will start with before each battle. It's a pretty interesting take on both of these characters, especially if you're one of the many that were never able to play the demo at game shows.

"[Batman's] biggest tell is his character trait," explained Sanchez. "When you're fighting Batman, you want to keep up the pressure when those [electronic bats] are recharging, and don't give him a chance to bring them out. You also don't want too much emphasis on melee, since he can parry any sort of incoming melee attack. Instead, employ more keep-away tactics to keep him locked down."

"GREEN ARROW
Sticking with the theme of millionaires-turned-pseudo-vigilantes, Green Arrow is up next. Similar to Batman, Green Arrow has a deep bag of tricks, only in the form of various arrows. But while the caped crusader strikes a balance between ranged and melee techniques, this longbow hunter prefers to fight from the other side of the screen with a combination of standard, stun, ice, and fire arrows.

If you were hoping for a boxing glove arrow or a computer hacking arrow, you're out of luck.

Standard Arrow: These arrows are easy to use but deal low damage. As with the other arrow types, you can charge these projectiles by holding the trait button and still move around while doing so. Starting count: unlimited

Stun Arrow: These arrows temporarily disable opponents, letting you link together combos that would otherwise be impossible. Sanchez recommends them for pro players who can... Read this and much more, here!

It seems like Netherreal/Warner Bros. is getting a lot of good will towards fans and Game mags. It's stupid to me that they are blowing it with all this hush hush shit. The game comes out in April, not next year, and February is a short month! Even with all the celeb banter and free skins, they know thats not what buyers really want to hear about. At this point we should be getting character reveals and video of gameplay every damn week. What are they waiting for, the week before the effing game comes out?

Damn Batman sounds OP in this article. I'm sure it will be balanced out and what not but "can parry any sort of incoming melee attack" sounds rough.

I can guarantee you, Green Arrow will be really good or the most played character. I love Green Arrow but I can see everyone picking him up because he seems pretty easy to use and looks amazing. At least he has a certain amount of certain arrows.

The thing is, remember that these guys aren't experts. Imagine them taking a first look at MK9 and the things they'd say; experienced-player tactics affect game balance a lot more than 'first look' appearances of characters.

So take each bit of info with a grain of salt; but I'll be excited to play it for myself and finally see what's going on :)

I'm willing to bet we'll see a lot of Green Arrow and and Batman online for the first few months.

It seems (to me) that zoners typically start off really strong in new fighting games when people are learning the fundamentals of movement and whatnot, then slowly fade away for the most part. So I expect to see lots of Green Arrows online scoring easy wins off of the casual audience who can't properly cover space quickly and effectively. And we'll see Batman because he's popular.

Batman is a lot more interesting than I thought he was going to be initially. The bat bots sound like a great addition.

Do normals chip in this game like they do in Mortal Kombat? Cause if they do Batman's pressure with those bats up could potentially be pretty crazy, think Strider or Vergil from MvC crazy.

Yea, there's chip damage.
Batmans gonna be pretty dangerous than, chip on his strings plus the chip on the bats plus any possible mixups that might be in there. Yeah theres apparently push block in this game but if the bats work anything like Vergils Sprial Swords or Striders Oroboros that wont help too much.

This one's for you
Batman's parry will probably be very punishable, so that alone probably won't be reason not to pressure him. It would be like saying Cyber Sub Zero can't be rushed down.

The thing about Green Arrow having a limited number of arrows is pretty interesting. It says "starting count" so does that mean there's a way he can get more?

he can get special arrows with different inputs. one for 3 fire arrows, another for 2 stun arrows and another for an ice arrow

Hehe, yeah -- the other thing is, people are very character-loyal (thus all the online Scorpions). So I expect to see a ton of Supermans at launch as well.
