Lafayette seems to be pretty dead as far as MK goes. Last month's tournament got canceled (and they dropped MK as a result of it), and the one before it only had 6 people show, and 3 or 4 of them were from Texas. Then they moved to California.

We can probably get something going in the BR area in the near future, even if it's just a bunch of us playing casuals. Other than that, the only place things usually happen other than Shreveport is at Dibbz in Metairie.

I'm about to get something rolling soon. Soon as I get a few things taken care of over here and get my stream equipment in, it's on.

Monday and possibly Tuesday too we're gonna be running casuals at my place in Sorrento (just outside of Baton Rouge right off I-10). Anyone that wants to come is welcome.

If it means anything at all, I'm spending this month after finals working on my new character. Jan-through Feb will be work on match-ups, with online being what I use primarily. I am also planning on saving for The Final Round trip. With my transportation situation being what it is, this is what I can and will do.

Eklectic is right though, you guys.

Monday is looking like our weekly MK day, so anyone that wants to start coming out, try and plan for Mondays if possible.

Quick reminder that we'll be streaming casuals tomorrow, and should have at least 2 setups. If anyone else has a setup they can bring, please do. The more the better.

GAMETIME is finally going to be able to make it out, which means tomorrow's unofficial main event will be Ermaculate_Slim vs. GAMETIME as both are total beasts that play a fuckload of characters at high level. Can't wait to see that Cage mirror and the F3 madness that will come with it.

MalcolmX should be coming in from Mississippi as well if all goes as planned.

If we can get at least one more person, we can throw a bracket together for the hell of it if anyone is interested in a small tournament. If there's not enough for a "normal" bracket we could maybe do a Round Robin or something instead.

I'd love to join you 3PiecesofBread, but transportation is my biggest issue. But as I've said before, I'm going to keep practicing and playing. I'm looking real hard at Final Round.

I've discussed this time and time again, and now we are getting somewhere.

We are on the final stages to have a MK Monthly set up in North Louisiana. We held our first one a while back, and now we are in discussion with another group to see if their venue can be used. If everything goes well, I will be running the MK bracket. I love to be a TO, and you love the game. Goo

I'm also announcing that my hiatus has come to an end. I have returned.

With this being said, KEEP JANUARY 19TH OPEN, GUYS.

There's a tournament in Slidell on January 20th (Smash Con, happens twice a year). That might cause some attendance conflict. Hopefully I can get off work for both.
