Kinda feels like it would be a waste of money. I've never played on a PS3 or offline, but I live in Dallas.....It's tempting.

It's tempting, just a little intimidating. Like I said never played on a PS3, or offline for that matter. And it's hard to find time to do those things with work. So I'd end up going to the tourney and it would be my first offline experience.

My first experience was EVO. Just go and chill with cool people who all enjoy mk9.

You have to bring your own controller lol. I have always had this problem at tournaments because I don't own a ps3 or ps3 controller

Yeah you bring your own, people are usually nice enough to let you borrow one if you need one. If you live in Dallas and you're THINKING about coming, just do it. Offline experience is the best, playing with top players is a great learning experience. It's worth every penny.

Dude, you must go. Do you have any idea how mad people that lives miles and miles away would be, if you lived IN Dallas but didn't go?

If you don't go, I'm going to organize a group of competitors to show up outside your house and Johnny Cage nutpunch you.
