DMG CD Jr's NYCC Injustice Impressions

Green Arrow look like he is going to be an annoying zoner/spacing character. His special buttons let you shoot arrows which you can charge and walk back forward and jump while charging it. charging the arrow doenst do anything really just hold the arrow lol. he can change his arrows to fire 3xarrows which do more chip and regular damage. electric shot 2x arrows which stuns you in the air and ground for a little while to give you more time to get in and a freeze shot 1x which of course freezes you and you can get a free combo. the is an animation when you change arrow types yes but its not that long. ok so when you change into fire you get 3 fire arrows then they go back to normal electrics are 2 and freeze are 1. his slide is pretty fucking fast and and has good reach. he has a ground shot the he hops back and shoots the floor, the move is good because he hops back pretty far and shoots in the knee which is pretty good and the move is super fast. he has 3 anti air move 1 is db 1 which shoots arrows straight up that same can be done in the air and shoots straight down so is good when you knock your opponent down. the second anti air is db2 which shoots an exploding arrow diagonally up. and the third one is back and releasing a hold arrow.

Soooooo if I am decent at MK9, will I be able to pick up Injustice easily or quickly? Because I suck dick at just about any other fighting game that isn't MK9.

I hope this doesn't count as a technical question, but when flash activates slow mo, is there a meter system involved with it? Activating it whenever seems kinda wack.

Do projectiles trade, and if so do some projectiles have priority over others or do are all projectiles canceled each other out when they trade?

Did they alter the Clash System?

At E3 a writer for Shoryuken.com mentioned that Grundy did not have armor in the show build but was told he would have armor in the future. Did NRS give you any information on the system that wasn't in the Comic-con build but will be in the final version of the game?

There is those 3 bolts you see at the bottom regenerate while you fight and they regenerate quick(based on time).
Once you activate them the 3 bolts degenerate slowly. The slow mo is gone when the 3 bolts disappear or when flash gets hit once.

Hitting him once is hard as fuck, I had the chance of playing against Flash with Cyborg. Was able to cover my own ass with close ground rockets.

CD jr What game would you say Injustice compares to when it comes to the game speed?

How were the stage interactions? In your time with the game, did you see any signs that they may be used frequently or are they just there because NRS wants them to be there?

And not that it matters at this point, but who would you say were the least and most used characters?

nope they dont clash. however some projectiles you cannot neutral duck like cyborgs. either you block it or jump over it.
Do you know if low normals put you under the projectiles like d3/d4 do now?

Are blocked supers or xrays punishable? and if they r block do they stil go into the animation like umvc3 which do chip damage or is it like mk9 no chip and no animation if its blocked???

Man a character that can freeze you for a full combo? I think I found my main :) (as long as all the inputs work correctly)

CD jr I haven't been following the development of the game, but since you played the most recent build, is there chip damage on normals? Sorry if this was already announced / discussed. Thanks

I see the projectile question was already answered. I can't believe projectiles don't trade. SMFH. Figured they'd learn from the Kano knife toss fiasco that having projectiles trade gives them better options of balancing out zoning.

This is a pre-alpha build of the game. Jumping to conclusions is futile.
