MLG Dallas Announcement - Mortal Kombat Now Confirmed!

Understand? Well I hope you guys dont show this community the hate that went to KOF when the turn out was small. MLG could have waited a little longer to announce this. Maybe they could have waited til November 1 to make the announcement.

When I say "understand" I'm trying to say "I don't have any control over this type of stuff." I do consider myself more like one of you guys if anything. If it was up to me I would have gotten the info out sooner but it is what it is.

No reason MK would get the same treatment as KOF, people showed up all season and I've been trying my best to make sure MK gets repped. I know there's been quite a few gaffes but at the end of the day, MLG is finishing out a complete season of MK - which was my goal in the first place. Thanks to the community and TYM in that regard for helping me out.

i predict low numbers. i think this decision was made last minuted cause if they didnt have MK9 for dallas, the community would take a shit on MLG. so i guess in order to prevent that, they said what the hell lets have it.

It is what it is and money is money, all of us waiting to make plans to attend is costing us money by the day. People who work multiple jobs (like myself) need a schedule whether to fly out Thursday or Friday and I'm not for taking an extra day out of work if not needed.

This is just an announcement now we need a schedule to properly plan, the clock is still ticking.

I don't agree with how MLG did things and then again did they have a reason? That, I also don't know.

I'm just saying that at this point it seems like we're almost just as upset about it "still" going on than if it would be cancelled.

What can you do? Complain? Sure, but how does that help us now? Unless MLG plans to make some kind of an apology, which I doubt. They have done a ton for the MK community... the biggest pots MK ever saw.

I dunno... I understand what you're saying, but again... what can you do?

fyi, I'm not and wasn't aiming to be a smartass... just trying to look on it in the best light possible and proceed.

I'm honestly pissed about it too, but what does that do for anyone?

At this point, I am just hyped for Dallas. Thank you to MLG for getting the word out about it today and NO later.

I just have that feeling that this will be the biggest turn out 4 mk in mlg yet...everythings bigger in texas lol, as much as i been focused on DOA, i guess ima have to get back to training hard in MK as well just to stay fresh
