oh and i recall playing the entire Halo 3 ODST game and thought it was utter trash

I just don't like them, personal preference. Well, I can say MGS is ok, but people overhype it waaaaayyyy to much, and it makes me hate it.

Theres a big difference between u not liking a game and calling it trash.

Trashy games are like Resident Evil 6 or...Resident Evil 6. Those games are trash b/c there poorly built/ made. The zelda series, mgs, and ff series (up till maybe 7 or 10....thats debatable b/c I fucking love ff12) aren't poorly made and are praised b/c they have defined and set the paving stones for good games that are out now.... which there isnt to much of tbh

Mario 64 is just kinda boring bro. I thought it was boring at 10 years old and i still thought it was boring when I was 20. Banjo Kazooie and Conkers Bad Fury Day are better 3d platformers w/ better level designs and bosses fights. They also had charm unlike MArio 64 which was just sooo ugh idk man. I Stopped giving 2 fucks about Super Mario after Super Mario World on SNES.

Every Final Fantasy after 9. Plots are stupid, characters are overdramatic, it's japanese people trying to do drama, and failing at it. FF13 is the worst offender. Plot made no sense and I couldn't tell girls from dudes and viceversa.

Metal gear. LBSH Snake and Big Boss are cool characters, but the gameplay is stiff as fuck, plots are terribly convoluted, jesus christ the ending of 2 was a spit in the eye, and don't get me started with johnny diahrrea in 4.

Resident Evil. Games are not scary. Jill sandwiches. Dumb convoluted plot that made no sense. Terrible, stiff gameplay. Boring. 4 was decent.

Heavy Rain. I played this game with my dad. He moved out of the house and divorced my mom some months later. Maybe it was Heavy Rain's fault? I think so.

The first Assassin's Creed. Remember when a superior time-traveling race created humans to be their slaves, being controlled with a magical flying sphere, but then the earth got destroyed by some solar flares? Also flying old people and fist-fighting the pope in the Sistine Chapel.

Usually AAA titles are pretty standout. I'm surprised this thread hasn't devolved into bitter arguing. The weird part about all this is I was just telling dude at work how everyone I know hates everything I like (mcdonalds, pizza hut, skinny girls...etc.). This thread feels just like that.

I just need to clear one thing. Nintendo don't give a fuck about Metroid. That series is godlike but it aint God's gift if nintendo don't support it lol.
