Reptile 6x dash?!?

I've been working on my Reptile for a good while now, and I think I've reached a point where I'm pretty decent with him. I've recently started learning how to properly punish teleporters and chronic jumpers and use the forceballs, dash and invis to keep people off balance. I can get 3x juggles off a popup consistantly (50%), 4x sometimes depending on what character I'm facing which results in 57% if I remember correctly.

But how in the world can someone get 6x juggles, and even more? I've praticed the juggle countless times and I still cannot get more than 4 of them before an uppercut on any character. They just end up too low to keep going.

On the guide it says to HPHP but I find I can only get 2, maybe 3, HPHP's before I have to go to LPHP then LPLP before the uppercut. I feel I've got the timing down pat, but maybe I'm not standing close enough or far away enough to keep the combo going. This is not specified in the guide - where to stand relative to the popup. Can I get some advice on that?

Reptile is definately a rewarding character to learn, but it's alot of work.

increase your speed and tighten up your timing, and you will get more HPHP juggles.

Do you try and stand as close as possible? Does your position make a difference?

isnt xbla = arcade/mame. on mame the most i can get is vs sheeva 18 hps (9 dashes) mid-screen with no infinite pattern. with aahpx3 in corner i think i got 22 or 23 dash punches vs jax, it was for shattered and costs me a lot of time and finally we leave it because the infs were found lol
 
Actually, the opposite is true for me. I have trouble doing more than 2 (sometimes 1) dashes, but the f+hp inf seems easier for some reason.

I just find the flow easier. When I try the F+HP one it's harder to keep the rhythm going. Besides, I'll never be able to do an actual infinite juggle. I'm just trying to get to a point where I can get 50-60% consistantly. That usually means 4 juggles then an uppercut.

for me it is easier to do it on the robots.. it seems as if robots are more "bouncier" then other characters. this is the combo i do with reptile.

Slow Force ball, HPHP, Fast Force ball, HPHP dash HPHP dash LPLP dash HPHP dash Uppercut.
 
rofl you pussy, the uppercuts the easiest fuckin part.

I get pissed if I pull off a 5x dash or so and miss an uppercut, that's the worst. I hate doing reptiles infinite on the robots, you have to catch them at a specific point.

Actually, since I got the RROD, my DS took over my UMK playing, and I actually lost all my juggling skills on the 360.

Lately, the closest i've gotten to a reptile infinite was like vs male ninjas and I got like 5 or 6 volleys and lost it *sigh*

I guess I have to play a lot more umk on the gay 360 pad.

Anyways, I was wondering. Could someone make a video of Reptile's juggle on Smoke (Robot)

HP, HP, D+LP, Fast Forceball, (aaHPHP, dash)x4, (LPLP, dash)x3, Uppercut

I wanna beat a friend with it (kaillera p2p ping <30ms) :)

So far I did 12 hits = 47% dmg

From this site I learnt all 3 listed basic combos for Reptile. You are the best!

Should I maybe practice other juggles and other stuff first?
