This is what I learned yesterday - Opponent blocking - Ex Nutpunch, Opponent not blocking - Ex Nutpunch, Xray animation going on - Ex Nutpunch, No meter - Ex Nutpunch, Hit an Ex Nutpunch - Ex Nutpunch, Get Ex Nutpunched - Ex Nutpunch, Epic Finals between ChrispyCream7 and SwiftTomHanks - Play "Oh You're So Cold Sub-Zero!!!"

Some of the gimmicks could be removed for sure.

In the car we were talking about how all the good Cage players play in a similar fashion... except for you. There's some I would keep, but some that in serious tournament play are going to cost you the match lol.

After playing the Deadliest Warrior 4v4, I decided to pick up the demo last night. It was fun as hell, I might have to pick up the full game. If we end up playing again, you may see a very scary Viking user. xP

Keep = Flip Kick Setups (Use Scarce), 13 nut punch (when f33nut doesn't work), and the hardknockdown that pretty much sends you in the corner.

Remove = Trying to predict someone's move with ex nut punch... I should only really do it when I know someone is doing a wake up or is getting a little to offensive on me.

A lot less ex nut punch reads imo. They can really cost you the match. If anything know if the character you are against is slower, perhaps they won't punish it in time since it is harder to punish then the normal one.

I think the hard knockdown is interesting, but what you're giving up is a lot just to push a character to the corner. It is also match up dependent. You should do whatever it takes to get Kenshi and Kabal to the corner; but a character like Lao, Raiden, Rain, ect. you win midscreen so there's no point. Also there are other characters that if they manage to switch the corner position on Cage can ruin you - I'm talking about Sektor here; so that's a risk vs reward you have to think about.

The flip kick thing will win you matches in a tournament; no one knows about this, and this is a good ticket into top 8 imo.

I can't see a point to flipkick besides if someone is jumping at you on wakeup and you don't have meter or tech rolled or safish wakeup

Is flipkick safe on block or something? I know that Cage seems to recover instantly when he lands after it.

no its -12, its just when it goes over someone, if the opponent is standblocking it can be hard to poke out of it. If they know the ex nut punch is coming Ill just keep pressuring them lol

wow it's hilarious how cage and sonya can play a guessing game when they're at negative frames like that, when I'm playing scorpion and use 334, im at neg 2 on block and all i can think against characters like cage is "MASH D1!! THE KNEE IS COMING!"

well your neg 1 on a crouch hit but on standing your left at +1 so my options are beat out his attempt to hit me, with another d1, armor through his attempt to hit me(if im looking for full combo) or start pressure/mixups if they're blocking.
