you could actually fly down here on spirit airlines I think they have some super cheap deals for 20 bucks to and from. it's real cheap.

hey dude, theres def a few of us down here in south fl that are totally ready to play. me, bud, cuban guy, renisan, ozzy, and a few others ( cant remember names lol sorry) all play and im one of the tournament directors over here. well sorta. anyways, to all of those from south FL reading this post, i will be having MK9 tournaments at a local lan/gaming center called zero ping. ZP is located literally right across the street from the hardrock hotel and casino in hollywood fl just off 441 and stirling rd. so im going to try and get atleast 1 tournament a month in and i for sure def expect to get in a practice tournament or session before titans this upcoming weekend. to all of those interested in showing up or wanting to play, PM me that way i can get a date set up. represent south fl at titans!! chyea!

Alright I have talked to a person at final round about running a tournament setup at there next event I tried to call them up but the phone is disconnected.
So if you are interested in attempting to get the local mk crowd going let me know under this post and I'll make a trip this coming week to final round and talk to someone about setting up a MK stream and having some casuals with a possible tournament set up in the near future I would like to make this a weekly deal.

Let me know.

Also let me know when you do that event at zero ping I'd definitely love to come and attend I'll see if I can drag Chris out of his cave to play to.

I got to thinking, I would love to try to organize something equivalent to Titans3 here in South Florida, sometime early next year (I know people will be tied up with Holidays and what not.) I know the area well for super duper cheap hotel accommodations, and can probably talk to some people promotional wise. I got a hook up with Red Bull, and can maybe get Red Bull girls at the event, do a one day thing, hang out do casuals and what not with SomeCubanGuy, Sega, Noobe, etc.

How keen would you guys be on making a trip to beautiful South Florida for a weekend of awesome gaming, and community hype? Let me know, I will start organizing soon (the sooner the better!)

I'm not sure if my car could make the drive all the way down to S. Florida, but I'd definitely try to support the scene, Bud.

It was a pleasure meeting a bunch of you guys: Jaarus, Bud, SomeCubanGuy, Noobe, KingRey, and a bunch of others I know I am unfortunately leaving out. Good seeing Isaac and MindGamez again. I'll see you guys again(hopefully) at World of Beers and Tampa Never Sleeps.

Man, as soon as I got home I tossed myself in my bed and immediately fell out. Living off 5 hour energy, NOS, and coffee isn't good for your health. Haha.

If I started hosting casuals either in Altamonte Springs or Kissimmee, would I get some people to show up? There could also be some SSF4AE, T6BR, MvC3, or Brawl setups if people want those.

reminder for everyone in Tampa: We have 2 tourneys coming up. We will have the World of Beer tourney happening this Tuesday night at 10pm, and We will have the "Tampa never sleeps" tourney at 930pm this saturday as well. There will also be the MK9 monthly on the Sunday 9/24/2011. Lots of tourneys coming this month.

First of all I wanna say congratulations to everyone that went to Titans3. I wouldve gone myself but money issues kinda prevented me from attending this time around. Hopefully soon i'll be able to make another tourney.

From what I'm understanding the World of Beer Tourney is free to play? Or free to enter? Maybe i'll attend that one.

Ok next thing. Evil Nonsense and I want to setup a night, maybe once a week, maybe once every two weeks, SOMETHING, for casuals in the Tampa/St. Pete area. I'm not very good at organizing people but if you're interested PM me or EvilNonsense, and we'll see what works best for everyone. Already Evil and myself agreed that weekends work best for us but obviously everyone has different schedules, but I think we should at least try to make something work. So if anyone wants in let one of us know!

Edit: I'm aware that there is the Serenity Games every Tuesday and Sunday, but I kind of would like to see if we can schedule something and get people to come out whether it be a big turn out or small..You know, something more than 3 people =)
