sindel hate online....

since sindel is my main now ive been playing her online to get some match up practice....but i noticed that a lot of players in the room started hating me and quitting after one round...they accuse me of using one move only (the fireball im assuming)...but the way i play sindel is that i mix up zoning and rushdown....

*BEWARE OF ONLINE FOOLS* When I first took my Sindel online I can't even begin to count how much hate mail I received from people who don't even understand the basic fundamentals of fighting games. They don't know what zoning is...they don't understand footsies....I once did an experiment where I wouldn't throw a single fireball and I still got labeled a "spammer" in the chat... don't even worry about it. :)

Just play people like myself who posts on the boards. Playing random people won't do anything for your game.

People will hate no matter how you play the game...I've zoned and got hatemail, you get it from rushdown etc.

People are immature and love to hate and blame their losses on cheap styles...if it's not broken there's not a legitamate complaint.

I love the Sindel/Kabal MU for some reason lol.

I'll gladly play against any sindel on psn with my kabal. My kabal will get blown up if its worse than minimal lag though lmao

What's really nice is when they start cussing at you over the mic.

Just play TYM members to avoid these types of problems.

I cancel my ndc into crouch block almost every time a low fireball comes out from any distance. The only real reason I get hit by it is either wrong read or lagg. Mostly lagg,

Reading the hatemail is one of the best parts about mk!

tell the haters to shove it. here's a secret: they will whine about anything and everything you do unless they win. Otherwise, you will be cursed at and accused of spamming the following:
combos
projectiles
uppercuts
blocks
enhanced moves
jump-in punches

i main sindel and sheeva; i've heard it all. just do your thing and play good people, i.e. just about everyone from this site.

It's my biggest issue, I'm so used to the dummy downed combos and end up using those in offline play.

yes...i rarely go online now...it screws with my offline timing too much...i have the same problem as you.

smoke never really gives me much trouble. i like to stay in close with step-ups and use air fireballs when they smoke-in/out. usually baits them into trying to use projectile parry. i dash in and use hair whip or a full combo if close enough. air fire for smoke bombs, or a few simple blocks...then the teleports come, and it's game over: punish with b3, f2, yell, jp, b3, f2, and then either b2, 4, air fire or dash, b1, 2, dash, 1,1,1, hair whip.

i hate counter-pickers and wish i could roll them in picnic food and then stick them on an anthill!! i rarely try to get close to keep-away-style smoke players; i just blast away withe fireballs. except for when i see a parry, of course. and a bit of turtling to stop their smoke bomb...i like to make them come to me. chasing them is just playing into their strategy. eventually, they will HAVE to come in close if they wanna inflict anything more than chip damage, and when they do, i let the queen do her thing. :D

Im not saying its an easy match, but once you get the hang of it, its handleable, IA fireball the smoke bombs, if they get spammy.. attemp to bait the shake to allow you to move in easier, B1, 2 in scream and 21 Levi cancel all the IAtele's smoke attemps to do, Lots of D4's into 44 fireball or 44 d4 step ups when close. Keeping levi pressure is the winner here i'd say. I actually managed to beat @Canei2008 smoke a good amount of times using this stratagy, ( verygood XBL smoke)
