@hecterrific Is Tremor (full character, please) going to be released on console, the costumes going to be released on console and PS Vita's improved netcode going to be adapted to PS3?

While, yes, this interferes with 'Komplete Edition' it somehow has additional bugs than the original version of MK9 anyways. So it needs to be fixed; you could just throw Tremor in that patch, right?

Anyways, clearly this was a ploy to see if there's interest in Tremor for sales, hence your immediate activity in the thread. We want him, we'll buy him. You guys know this, but can you please add the stuff from vita without charging us for a superior netcode as well?

Tremor's just a pallet swap with a new movelist, he really wouldn't be that difficult to make into a full character, and there's profits to be had; so why not?

They're having a panel at EVO apparently, and they didn't last year. I'm expecting some sort of announcement soon, e3 is in a month.

Wow you guys all really need to settle down a bit, the haterade flowing here is very palpable. You do realize that Tremor is just a fun little extra that they put into the new Challenge Tower on the Vita for the fans? He can't even be used in the Practice Mode and definitely not online. Calling NRS a bunch of names is not the right way to show them this character is something you'd be interested in.

You know, UMK 9 would be the perfect opportunity to improve netcode, buff some of the lower characters, remove the bullshit, tidy up the glitches, maybe add some new moves to existing characters, add new characters, new costumes....people would go nuts. Remember Boon saying he wouldn't have minded Jason in this as well?

I know people that dropped this game, only because they had no offline scene and the netcode was garbage. I still talk to Shura who misses the game and says he'd come back if the netcode was improved.

Plus UMK9 would breath new life into our scene. Bring back old players, new players. WB know this would sell like hotcakes.

It really is a no brainer and everyone is a winner.

Huge agree, specifically regarding the netcode. This game NEEDS improved netcode so badly. I realize I'm not a pro player, but I do love this game and community, and the bad netcode almost made me drop it.

In todays gaming world, you cannot afford to have garbage online play if you want to build a scene for your game.

I'm not even mad, it's just that all this new content makes me want UMK9...it would be nice to keep this game going for EVO the next year with intrigue at the prospect of new characters, arenas, greater balance, more classics for all the cast, new netcode etc.

I'm not hinting at anything, just saying I wouldn't be bitter if that happened.
