System looks fun? I don't want to go into my tirade about combo variety but this looks like it'll be fun to watch or play.

Hoooly fuck those animations are long though. I hope to god we're not in some injustice hell where every match you get 2-4 10 second cut-scenes. Please be used sparingly.

Completely different in terms of functionality, lol. Boon himself also said "some of the characters are gonna be available as kameos as well as the main roster of fighters, so you can play Sub-Zero with Sub-Zero." Pay attention.

Rewatching I'm a little more hopeful, I can understand the whiplash from going to MK11s realism to the fortnite style of 1, not bad, just different. Some spots looked bad in the gameplay but that Raiden segment has me hopeful. Stages are fucking amazing. Thank goodness for meterless combos. Kameos pretty much what I expected. Still need to see more but I'm optimistic

So, you're then assuming that all the slots on the kameo roster are the exact same as the ones on the primary character roster? So there is no difference between those lists.

I'm not complaining about graphics quality (which actually sucks but let's see if they improve - for example current Sonya, Stryker and Kano look like something that is PRETTY FAR AWAY from being finished product).

I'm complaining mostly about the graphics aesthetics. Explosions, flashes, cartoonish lightnings etc. We already have MANY Fighting Games with cartoonish vibe. Especially the Asian ones. Why can't they stick to their roots and get something that is dark and at least to some extent realistic?

And yes, I know that we can wink a bit on how "realistic" MK was with some of their most ridiculous fatalities even from 90s era, but I'm just disapointed that they are following the path to turn this product into MK vs DC or Injustice if we are speaking about visual aspect.

It’s interesting that the biggest complaint from MK11 was lack of combos and combo expression. And in this short gameplay trailer, we see a TON of cool new ways to extend combos and a variety of combo expression, and people find new things to complain about, lol. I know you’ll never be able to please everyone, but it’s just a bit funny to me.

Anyway, hopefully we will get in depth breakdowns of the gameplay sooner rather than later, can’t wait! And still hoping to see Human Smoke as a playable base character!

Uh, I mean the game looks gorgeous to me. I didn't get a Fortnite vibe at all. Then again, I've never played Fortnite because I'm not an Actual Baby and have been outside and know the intimate touch of other human beings, so...

Anyway, really curious if there will be a lore explanation for Kameos or who the Big Bad will actually be.
